Women in History - personal project
Design: Marta Hervás Oroza
Women in History (Historia con nombre de mujer) is a visibility campaign for Madrid’s city council, that aims to showcase the crucial contributions of previously overshadowed women, out on the streets.

The design encompasses a set of two twin posters for a lamppost banner and other printed media, the first one presenting an example of a woman and her key contribution (Margaret Schutte-Lihotzky, architect and designer of the Frankfurt Kitchen, the percursor of modern kitchens), and an alternate version with the name and slogan of the campaign, using the negative space as a contrasting point to the information displayed in the main piece.
